The perfect little black dress

I am always on the lookout for the perfect LBD!  Is my closet filled with little black dresses? Yes. Do I care? Nope. I feel like even if your entire closet is basically packed with black dresses, you can never have to many. This dress is seriously so cute, affordable, and work appropriate! I love the tassel details on the shoulders! Tassels are everywhere and on everything this season. So when I saw this dress I was like Yupp sold, sign me up! The top half is a see through mesh which is nice touch. I will say this dress has zero give so if you have a curvy lower half or upper half you will definitely need to size up. I paired it with these super cute black studded sandals which I got for only $12!!! Like what a steal!! I will link all of my outfit details below. 

Male rompers... YAY or NAY?

If you've been on the internet at all lately you have likely stumbled across the male romper "trend". So I figured I would give you my input and my lovely husbands commentary as well.  

I would say me and my husband are a fashion forward couple. I mean my husband wore skinny European style slacks to our wedding, if that tells you anything. When I asked my husband what he thought about male rompers he laughed and said I'm not putting one on for your blog Ashley (he knows me to well). Well sir I didn't ask you to but thanks lol. I just don't think a lot of thought has been put into it. I mean do you realize you have to get completely naked to use the bathroom?! Could you imagine doing that in a men's room?! Also it looks like you are wearing a baby's onsie and no man should be down for that. I personally can't get behind this trend especially because when the trend became popular for women most men mocked it. So please guys stay far far away from the rompers and leave them to us women.

Casual Friday

When your girlfriends text you on Friday first question is always "what are you wearing?" "Are you going to look cute or?" "Or" would be key word for can I show up in athleisure and be okay. Those are my kind of hangouts but for the times you want to be comfy yet cute this would be another option. My go to for any comfy, yet cute outfit is stretchy pants. Normally that means my lulu leggings but in this case I opted for my fly monkey jean leggings. These are so stretchy and still look like jeans, win win. They are also very affordable so if you are in the market for stretchy comfy jeans try Fly Monkey, but size down bc they stretch out. This shirt is from one of my favorite boutiques @lushfashionokc . I love the strap detail in the front and wish it came in more colors. This could also be paired with a lacy bralette and a long flowy maxi skirt to dress it up! My sandals are from Express last year but I linked similar ones below!
