Staying healthy during the holidays is beyond hard on anyone! With grandma cooking you her famous desserts and if your married having to go to multiple places in one day! You better have it together before those days come or else its all down hill from there! I get asked all the time how I stay in shape so I thought I would share what has worked for me! I'll be real though this is hard for me too! We eat out a lot at work and choosing the healthiest option isn't always the easiest. But if you mix a couple of these tips together you should be good to go!

1. Find a workout/Gym that you enjoy!

So for me I choose to do Crossfit at @kodaCrossfit 3-4 times! I can't go to the regular gym and be efficient with my time. I just wonder around picking up weight and putting it down, I'm a mess. I personally need to have someone there yelling at me and telling me what to do. I find picking a workout at a gym you enjoy going to will make you more successful in achieving your goals! That might not be Crossfit for everyone but I enjoy it because I enjoy the variety.

2. Find a Workout/accountability partner

This one is huge! I just don't think anyone can really do this on their own. Or if you can I commend you because I certainly can not! Having someone to text or for them to text you everyday making sure you go to the gym will make you think twice about skipping because you have someone else counting on you. I personally don't know what I am going to do when @amandamart15 has shoulder surgery! So everyone be praying for me during this time lol JK Pray for Amanda she's the one having surgery.

3. Figure out a healthy eating system.

Normally during the week I don't have a lot of extra time to meal prep and with my husbands crazy schedule neither does he! So we get our weekly meal preps at @thefitpig. You can get 20 meals for $185! That's less than $10 a meal and in our case thats much better than eating out every day! They offer paleo friendly meals and they list all of your macros on the front of the container. Also designate yourself a cheat day for sanity purposes!

4. Drink lots of water

Gah I could totally be better about this! I love me some Dr. Pepper but I can totally tell the difference between weeks that I am drinking a ton of water and the weeks I am not!

5. De-Stress

Easier said than done! I know! But find a hobby or something that transports your mind away from your day, something that you truly enjoy and make time to do that! Whether its reading, watching tv, or whatever. Your body needs time to relax and unwind. Personally I love to write and blog for you guys but I can also get down with Real housewives! So just do whatever feels right for you!

Bonus!!!

When you lack all other motivation just buy new workout attire! It always motivates me to hit the gym!

How do you guys stay healthy during the holidays? I would love to hear some tips and tricks below!

This outfit I am wearing here is just so perfect and this tulle skirt can be mixed and matched for several different looks! I paired this skirt with this super cute velvet bodysuit! I am loving velvet this season, anyone else?! To just be extra I decided to go with these red Steve Madden boots! I mean the holidays are all about the glitz and the glam or at least they are for me! With red being so hot on the runway this fall I just had to snag these ladies up!

Gosh I cannot believe it is almost November! Like where the heck did 2017 go?? I feel like this year has seriously flown bye. Maybe it's because I've kept myself so busy, but who knows? With the holidays fast approaching my calendar is filling up with parties and events and I'm sure it's the same for you guys! I know this time of year can be stressful enough without having to plan out your party outfits! I know I am always on Pinterest looking for outfit inspo and trying to figure out what the heck I am going to wear! I mean who else here stands in front of their closet on a Friday or Saturday evening thinking.."What the heck do I wear? Like seriously I hate all of my clothes and I have nothing to wear!" Yea we've all been there! Even me, and if you were to see my closet you would laugh and think, yea no way! But I think we all feel a little lack luster when were on a time crunch to choose and outfit especially if it is a holiday party. I mean don't we all just want to look our best? So I thought I would put together a what to wear guide for all of you who just need a little extra inspo for the holidays!

I've linked my entire outfit above as well as several others that you can shop for your holiday needs! I am contemplating doing a gift guide for the holidays let me know if thats something you guys would be interested in!

Side note; Who else is obsessed with pumpkins, PSL's, and all things fall? Anyone? Everyone? Okay good! Moving on.

Finally getting to sit down and talk to you guys about fashion and 1970s fashion has got me all excited! You guys these past two weeks have seriously been chaotic to say the least. I would like to go back to the day that I decided to start a blog, a photography business, and work full time and have someone shake me. Like it's starting to become overwhelming to say the least! I clearly need to get a planner and sit down and get more organized so if any of my friends have recommendations on cute planners holly atcha girl lol. How do I find time to shop when I have so much stuff on my plate? Well, I consider it one of my better skills in life.. my husband would consider it a vice of mine lol. Luckily he's not home to see my wide array of packages on the daily.

I've found myself leaning a lot towards sued, velvets, wide leg pants, block heel boots, bell sleeve shirts. Basically someone just transport me to the 70's and I think I'll be just fine (clothing wise, like I couldn't survive without google maps... directionally challenged here). One of the biggest trends this fall has been the adaption of a majority of the 1970s trends. I searched vintage 70’s fashion on Pinterest and it was basically everything that is in style now. We clearly haven’t even modernized it much! They say all fashion cycles back around and I totally believe this! My favorite piece that I’ve bought is this brown sued jacket! The only problem is finding shoes that are the same brown or a shoe that complements the color. Which currently has been black, thats the only color that I can stand seeing next to the jacket... mixing neutrals is not my thing and it kind of erks me.

I paired this jacket with a green jump suit from Dillards and some super cute black Steve Madden booties that I got from the @evereve grand opening! These booties have been a go to for me lately! They go with basically everything and can be dressed up or down. The heel is just big enough that I can rock these all day without my feet falling off. The jumpsuit runs a smidge small so size up! It is tapered at the ankles so us tall ladies can get away with the fact that it's not quite long enough. Also the fact that my boots are ankle booties helped! My necklace is from Nordstrom rack so I couldn't find a link for you guys (I know I suck) Sorry for taunting you with how cute it is!

PS! Are we loving the extensions?? I am obsessed! I will probably do a complete review for you guys so stay tuned for that! Anyway talk soon guys! Have a great week!
